Social Media & Content Manager
a21 UK incorporating IWSC, Club Oenologique and a growing consumer event portfolio
About a21 UK
a21 UK incorporates the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition), drinks title Club Oenologique, and a growing culinary and consumer event portfolio.
Since 1969, the IWSC has set the global benchmark for quality across wine, spirits and other drinks categories. The competition evaluates more than 11,000 entries annually from over 90 countries and is recognised worldwide for its expert judging, rigorous standards and prestigious awards programme.
Club Oenologique is the digital content arm of the IWSC, providing expert-led recommendations, insights and inspiration across wine, spirits, food and travel. Through editorial storytelling and trusted expertise, Club Oenologique connects with an engaged audience of drinks enthusiasts, collectors and industry professionals.
a21 UK is also expanding its consumer event portfolio, including the launch of the London edition of the established US-based Heritage Fire culinary event series in 2026. As part of US-based experiential marketing agency a21, the business specialises in live experiences, event production, brand activations and creating meaningful connections between brands and audiences.
This is an opportunity to join the team at an exciting stage of growth, creating content that brings our brands, events and communities to life across digital channels.
The role
We are looking for a creative, digitally minded and commercially aware Social Media & Content Manager to grow and develop the digital presence of IWSC, Club Oenologique and a21 UK’s expanding consumer event portfolio.
This is a hands-on role responsible for creating engaging social-first content, managing channel activity, building audience engagement and using insights to continually improve performance. The successful candidate will bring together creativity, storytelling and data-driven thinking, transforming campaigns, events, awards, partnerships and industry moments into compelling digital content that connects with audiences across wine, spirits, food, hospitality and luxury lifestyle sectors.
Working across multiple brands, this role will play a key part in increasing awareness, strengthening communities and amplifying the stories behind some of the world’s most respected drinks and culinary experiences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
