Social Media & Content Manager
About Virtue Vets
Virtue Vets is London’s premier next-generation veterinary care and pet wellness clinic group. We deliver exceptional clinical care alongside a premium, highly personalised experience in beautifully designed clinics. We are scaling and building a 100-clinic network across the UK.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager who is equally creative and analytical: someone who sets the strategy, creates the work themselves and is accountable for the results it delivers. You will concept, shoot, write, design and edit the majority of what we publish, working directly with the CMO in a high-autonomy role.
You must be a strong visual thinker, an excellent copywriter and meticulous about detail, and equally at home reading performance data and changing the plan because of it. Being a pet owner is a genuine advantage.
Prior Experience
You must have held a Social Media Manager or Content Manager role at a premium direct-to-consumer business, such as high-end gyms, spas, aesthetic clinics, hospitality or luxury experiences. A portfolio of original content you created yourself is essential, alongside evidence of the results it delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Own the social and content strategy, including the content pillars, formats and channel mix, aligned to Virtue Vets’ brand positioning and business objectives.
- Build and manage a content calendar that stays several weeks ahead, planning campaigns and key moments in advance.
- Run a continuous test-and-learn approach across formats, hooks and subjects, staying ahead of platform and cultural shifts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
