Social Media & Content Manager (iGaming)
Manchester-based agency | 2 days Sowerby Bridge office | 3 days WFH
We’re Socialtrend, a social media agency working with some of the biggest brands in iGaming, sports and online entertainment.
We’re hiring a Social Media & Content Manager to join the team and work across global gaming brands and campaigns.
This is not a typical social media role.
You’ll be creating content, running social channels and helping shape the voice of brands seen by millions. A lot of what we do sits around poker, football, major sporting events and internet culture — reacting in real time and turning moments into content.
If you’re looking for a slow-paced, brand-safe social role, this isn’t it.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning day-to-day social media output across multiple iGaming accounts
- Creating content yourself (memes, reels, statics, reactive content)
- Jumping on trends and live moments (sport, poker, pop culture) and turning them into content quickly
- Managing community (comments, DMs, engagement)
- Planning and managing content calendars
- Supporting campaigns and promotions across accounts
- Working alongside Account Managers to deliver consistently

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
