Social Media & Content Marketing Executive - London - Bank
3 Days per week in the office
Develop is an award-winning tech recruitment business that exists to raise the standard of technical recruitment. We are specialists, high-performing and growing across the UK, Europe and the US – and we are now hiring a Social Media & Content Marketing Executive to help us build on our already strong online presence.

Key Responsibilities
Social media ownership
- Own the company LinkedIn and Instagram channels, including strategy, content planning, copywriting, design, scheduling, community management and analytics.
- Build and run content calendars for new hires, awareness weeks, events, partnerships and key commercial campaigns.
- Actively engage with our online communities to drive comments, conversations, leads and inbound interest.
- Report monthly on performance and make clear recommendations to improve reach, engagement and lead generation.
Content creation (internal and external)
- Create and repurpose content across multiple formats including social posts, carousels, blogs, case studies, email content, one-pagers, pitch decks and simple reports.
- Produce both internal content (onboarding, process and culture materials) and external content (client- and candidate-facing assets).
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels and documents.

AI-enabled content and workflow
- Use AI tools day to day for drafting, research, summarising, repurposing and design support.
- Write strong prompts and iterate to get usable output, then edit for accuracy, tone and brand before publishing.
- Turn hero assets (events, reports, podcasts, market data) into multiple pieces of content across social, email and web.
- Identify repetitive tasks that can be streamlined or automated with AI to free up time for higher-value creative and strategic work.
Consultant enablement and personal brand support
- Curate and draft LinkedIn content for consultants and leadership, ensuring a regular cadence of high-quality posts.
- Provide simple content calendars, post ideas and templates that consultants can use to build their personal brands and generate leads.
- Run occasional training or 1:1 sessions to help consultants use AI, social media and content assets effectively for business development.
Website support
- Contribute to website content updates (blogs, case studies, landing pages) to keep our site aligned with our positioning and campaigns.
- Generate ideas for simple gated content and lead magnets that can be promoted via social and email.
- Knowledge of website CMS would be a huge bonus!
Data, reporting and continuous improvement
- Track and report key metrics such as impressions, engagement, followers, clicks, leads and consultant post activity.
- Use performance data and AI-assisted analysis to refine topics, formats and posting schedules.
- Stay current on platform changes and new AI features, testing and adopting where there is clear commercial value.

Skills, Experience and Attributes
Essential
- Proven experience managing social media and content exec for a recruitment business, brand or agency, with LinkedIn and Instagram as primary channels.
- Strong copywriting skills with excellent grammar and the ability to write engaging posts, headlines and short-form content.
- Confident user of AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe) for content creation and repurposing.
- Able to interpret channel and campaign data and turn it into clear, commercial recommendations.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple requests, deadlines and stakeholders without dropping quality.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with senior leaders and consultants.
