Social & Paid Social Designer
Designing statics, carousels and motion that stop the scroll and sell.
๐ Location - London/Hybrid (office culture matters here)
๐ฐ Salary - DOE
๐ Type - Permanent or freelance-to-perm
About the role
We're working with a creative-led growth agency for ecommerce brands in fashion, beauty and wellness. Paid social, paid search and performance creative, all run by one team in two-week cycles, with a goal CPA set from each client's own profitability.
You'd design the ads that stop the scroll. Statics, carousels and simple motion for Meta and TikTok, built from proper briefs rather than a mood board and a deadline. The creative strategists hand you a persona, a pain, a claim and a hook. You decide how it looks, and why that makes someone stop.
Here's the part most designers never get โ you find out what happened. Every concept goes up against a control and the numbers come back inside the fortnight. What works earns more spend and richer formats. Your static becomes motion, a carousel, a section on the landing page. What doesn't gets cut, and you build the next one knowing why.
Maintaining a high creative standard is the job.

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
