Introduction to the company and position

The Society of Independent Brewers & Associates (SIBA) is the UK’s leading trade association representing independent breweries and brewing supplier companies, with over a thousand members across the UK.

As the “Big voice of independent beer”, SIBA represents the interests of breweries via consumer and industry campaigns, Government lobbying, beer competitions and awards, industry trade shows and more.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day digital presence and marketing activity of a national trade association representing the independent brewing sector. You will work on high-profile consumer and industry campaigns, including the Indie Beer campaign, alongside SIBA’s wider events, awards, member communications and public affairs activity.

SIBA’s dedicated team is working to grow independent brewing’s market share in the UK and deliver the future of British beer. This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in that work.

About the Role:

The Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive plays a central role in managing SIBA’s online presence, creating engaging social media content and delivering timely, impactful digital marketing campaigns.

Working closely with the Head of Comms & Marketing, you will take ownership of day-to-day digital activity and help shape and deliver campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive engagement and support membership growth. A key part of the role will be delivering the Indie Beer campaign and helping to grow its reach and impact.

You will be responsible for managing SIBA’s social media activity, email marketing, website content and digital advertising, using performance data to understand what is working and improve results. As the trade association representing the independent brewing sector, SIBA is committed to delivering high quality communications and valuable information to our members. This role ensures members and wider audiences stay informed, engaged and connected with our campaigns and industry updates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
