Are you the person who’s always spotting the next TikTok trend, creating content on your phone and thinking about how brands can show up better on social media? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

At Pets at Home, we're looking for a creative, social-first Social Media Executive to help bring our brand, products, services, colleagues and customers to life across our social channels.

From filming adorable pet content in stores and practices to supporting influencer partnerships and growing online communities, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the social presence of the UK's leading pet care business.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Creating engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms
  • Filming, editing and publishing social-first video and photo content
  • Capturing content across stores, veterinary practices, support offices and events
  • Supporting social campaigns, key marketing moments and always-on content activity
  • Managing content calendars, scheduling posts and monitoring channel performance
  • Engaging with our online communities and identifying opportunities to drive conversation
  • Supporting influencer collaborations and employee-generated content programmes
  • Monitoring trends, platform updates and audience insights to help optimise performance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
