Location: Preston Docklands, with travel across Bowker Motor Group locations and event venues
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The Opportunity:

Bowker Motor Group has an exciting job opportunity for a Social Media Executive. Based within the award-winning Group Marketing team, you’ll be working with automotive brands of Porsche, BMW, MINI, Changan, Chery and Lepas.

We’re looking for a team member who has an appreciation of luxury retail brands, bursting with fresh ideas, to work on a variety of campaigns. A clear ability to create reactive content with an eye for current social media trends will be essential.

The Role:

  • Supporting the implementation of overall marketing strategy in alignment with brand guidelines
  • Management and maintenance of all social media channels to grow engagement and followers
  • Working with internal colleagues and external Creatives to output engaging and eye-catching photography and videography content for use in on- and offline media
  • Monitor and respond to online customer comments (e.g. social media posts, reviews) in a timely, professional and brand adequate manner
  • Using reporting dashboards/listening tools to monitor social media performance
  • Support with organising and running customer and prospect events

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with engaging social media content creation across a variety of channels
  • A confident and professional communicator
  • A proactive attitude with lots of enthusiasm
  • Ability to manage your own workload/deadlines
  • A current UK driving licence

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, with a 30 minute lunch break, and the position is based at the Group’s Preston Docklands site.
