Role Overview
We are looking for a confident and motivated Social Media Executive to join our ever-growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of social media management experience (preferably in healthcare), strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of the latest social media trends.
The role will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage customers by creating and managing compelling content, fostering community engagement, and analysing performance metrics to optimise strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty
- Create content calendars that include hosting podcasts and launching events to bring community and thought leaders together at various venues and locations across the country.
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to meet their needs and preferences
- Develop, curate, and manage high-quality, compliant content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner, fostering community engagement and brand loyalty
- Build and maintain relationships with followers and industry professionals/partner influencers and brand ambassadors
- Track, analyse, and report on key social media metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth) to measure the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns
- Stay informed about industry regulations and trends that impact social media marketing in the healthcare space

Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and their best practices
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and compliant content
- Ability to analyse social media metrics and use insights to improve strategy and performance
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster community engagement and collaboration
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bonus: Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and ethical marketing practices relevant to social media
