We’re looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Executive with strong graphic design and content creation skills to support the day-to-day management of our social media channels.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on design, Reels, social media content creation and coordination. You’ll work from provided content plans, copy and campaign direction, bringing ideas to life through engaging, on-brand creative across multiple social media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create high-quality, engaging social media graphics and visual content, with excellent knowledge of Canva essential.
  • Create, edit and produce Reels and short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Adapt existing brand assets, photography and video footage into engaging, social-first content.
  • Schedule and publish social media content across multiple accounts.
  • Ensure all content remains consistent with each brand’s guidelines, tone and visual identity.
  • Keep up with social media trends, formats, sounds and platform developments, identifying opportunities to incorporate them into content.
  • Maintain and organise social media content calendars, ensuring content is published accurately and on schedule.

Social Media Management & Community

  • Support the day-to-day management of social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages and community interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively engage with audiences and help build active, positive online communities.
  • Set up and manage social media competitions and giveaways, including publishing content, monitoring entries and coordinating winner selection.
  • Support social media collaborations and partner content where required.
  • Monitor engagement and flag customer queries, issues or opportunities that require further attention.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is both creative and confident managing social media accounts day to day.

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge of Canva, with a strong eye for graphic design, layout and visual storytelling.
  • Strong experience creating and editing Reels and short-form video content.
  • Previous experience managing business or brand social media accounts.
  • Media Planning skills to support the design and scheduling of social media activities.
  • A background in marketing, communications, or a related field, and familiarity with the events or ticketing industry, is an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Experience with social media community management, including comments and DMs.
  • Experience creating and managing social media competitions and giveaways.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple brands while maintaining their individual identities.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently from an agreed content plan and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A strong understanding of what makes social content engaging and visually effective.

Email Marketing

  • Knowledge and experience of Mailchimp is also required, including building and designing newsletters from supplied copy and assets, formatting campaigns, adding links and imagery, testing, and scheduling email sends.

About the Role

This role would suit someone who loves designing content, creating Reels and being hands-on with social media every day. It is primarily a creative and delivery-focused role rather than a strategic marketing position.
