Social Media Executive
£30-35k
Birmingham / London / Home Counties – Hybrid/ mostly remote
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Executive for our client. This dynamic company have their own internal creative agency specialising in B2C dental and health marketing, working on a wide range of marketing and digital marketing projects. Working within the social media team, you will be supporting their Head of Social Media and wider social media team for end-to-end social media management of a wide range of clients which includes overall content creation, client shoots, strategy execution, editing and delivery across the relevant social platforms.
Whilst the team work predominantly remotely, with this role, there will be travel/shoot days each month, one onsite team day per month in their central Birmingham office and the whole team meet up with weekly Zoom calls and quarterly face-to-face meetings, but the remainder of the work can be done remotely.

Our client is a highly successful dental growth company with a vast network across the UK. They deliver strategic brand and creative marketing solutions for hundreds of dental and health marketing companies across the UK and they are experiencing good organic growth and as such, they have strengthened their digital and creative team recently. They have won awards and treat their staff extremely well, and give a lot of autonomy, making them a very desirable place to work.

Working both collaboratively within the social team as well as having the autonomy and independence to take charge of your own time/calendar to book in shoots, you have the initiative to be creative and to push boundaries on the content that you create.
Along with the client content creation and management, you will also work together with the social team on running the internal channels to promote their agency, which has seen massive growth this year and is on track next year to almost double in size.
This is a full 360 role, the responsibilities of which include;
- Full ownership, end-to-end, of Social Media Management clients, including the overall content creation, client shoots, strategy execution, editing, and delivery across the relevant social platforms.
- Content capture at both internal and external company events.
- Work alongside a social team of creatives and strategists to consistently work to improve output and exceed client expectations.
- Produce daily assets and edit short-form video for client work
- Confidently and independently organise and execute content shoot days
- Monitor and track clear metrics; report on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Identify the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices and incorporate them into work
About You

- Have a proven track record in working within a creative agency on multiple clients, able to juggle different clients with ease
- You have a self-starter mindset; you proactively identify issues and opportunities and tackle them
- You are a team player whom your colleagues can rely on.
- You are confident in communicating and networking with both internal and external teams and clients.
- Hold a creative-led approach to thinking outside the box, always looking at new trends or doing things differently.
- You have experience with social media scheduling tools, editing apps, and the native features of all key social platforms.
- Understand content optimisation and best practices.
- Can independently manage your own workload
- Create strong client relationships

Experience needed for the role:
- Working across multiple clients concurrently in an agency environment across key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn).
- A clear understanding of the role that each social channel has, and creating a joined-up strategy with the wider agency services when appropriate
- Creating content for both B2C and B2B audiences
- Short-form video editing at pace and volume
- Planning and executing a yearly content calendar for each client with a 360-degree approach. From planning, idea generation, content capture, editing, and execution,
- Management of in-depth reporting and analytics and implementing these findings effectively.
- Monitoring competitors' and other brands' social presence to benchmark performance.
