About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Executive to help tell the story of Treetops Hospice. Through engaging content, powerful storytelling and effective social media campaigns, you’ll inspire supporters, raise awareness of our services and help make every day count for local people and families.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Treetops’ social media presence, shaping our strategy, growing our audiences and helping to increase awareness, support and engagement across Derbyshire.
Reporting to the Digital Lead, you’ll manage the organic and paid social media elements of campaigns, help to raise the profile of Treetops throughout central and southern Derbyshire; and engage the community in the mission of Treetops ensuring we’re educating and informing the public of our impact and how they can support Treetops.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of social media channel performance, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and accountability is maintained for results and corrective actions where required.
- Manage the creativity and delivery of marketing campaigns via organic and paid social media content, ensuring it raises awareness of Treetops and encourages engagement.
- Create and lead on the Social Media Strategy, which is geared towards increasing audience growth and engagement.
- Build and maintain an active presence across local community groups, identifying opportunities to increase engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
- Manage paid social media adverts in line with agreed budgets, monitoring cost-per-clicks (CPC) and conversions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- We’re looking for a creative, organised and results-driven marketer who understands how to create engaging content, build online communities and use data to continually improve performance.
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven track record of delivering successful social media paid and organic content, with strong engagement rates.
- Previous experience in a similar role and of creating social media content for either a B2C or B2B market.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and analytics tools.
- Ability to adapt content for SEO and UX purposes.
- Data analysis and evaluation of activity, including reach and engagement statistics.
- Ability to identify target audiences and appropriate channels.
