The Role
We are looking for a Social Media Executive to support Norton Motorcycles' global organic social media presence across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
This is a hands-on role combining social media planning, content creation, community management and performance analysis. You will help shape Norton’s digital voice, ensuring our content reflects the premium, authentic and distinctive character of the brand.
Working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, Campaign Manager and wider marketing team, you will manage the social media calendar, support campaign activity and attend shoots, events and activations to capture engaging, platform-native content.
The ideal candidate will be culturally aware, highly organised and confident creating content in fast-paced environments, with a genuine passion for social media, motorcycles and premium brands.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of Norton’s global organic social media calendar
- Align social activity with product launches, campaigns, events and wider marketing initiatives
- Work closely with the Campaign and Marketing Communications teams to ensure social requirements are incorporated into campaign planning and production
- Monitor social, automotive and lifestyle trends to identify opportunities for relevant and engaging content
- Ensure content is tailored to the requirements and behaviours of each social platform
- Attend campaign shoots, track days, factory visits, events and other brand activations to capture social-first content
- Create engaging photo and video content for use across Norton’s social channels
- Confidently capture high-quality content using a mirrorless camera or similar equipment
- Adapt existing brand assets, including photography, video, CGI and campaign materials, into engaging social formats
- Write compelling, brand-aligned copy that reflects Norton’s premium tone of voice
- Work with internal and external creative partners to support the delivery of social content
- Manage the scheduling and publishing of content across Norton’s social channels using relevant social media management platforms
- Monitor and engage with Norton’s online community, responding to comments and encouraging meaningful conversations
- Identify and escalate customer service enquiries or sensitive issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Support the development of relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, motorcycle communities and Norton owners
- Ensure all published content is accurate, on-brand and aligned with agreed brand guidelines
- Monitor organic social media performance across key channels
- Produce regular performance reports covering metrics such as reach, engagement, audience growth and click-through rates
- Turn performance data into clear recommendations for future content and campaigns
- Test different content formats, posting times, creative approaches and copy to continually improve performance
- Share social media insights and trends with the wider Marketing and Communications teams

Personal Specification
- 3–4 years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn and how content should be tailored to each platform
- Experience managing social media calendars and publishing content across multiple channels
- Confident creating and capturing social-first photography and video content
- Comfortable attending shoots, events and activations and working independently to capture content
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
- Good understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Creative, proactive and commercially aware, with a strong understanding of current digital and cultural trends
- A genuine interest in motorcycles, automotive, design or premium lifestyle brands would be highly desirable
- Experience using platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr or similar would be advantageous
