WE’RE HIRING: SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Spice Village Group | London
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Love creating content that makes people stop scrolling? From food and restaurant moments to weddings and events, help us bring our brands to life on social media.
We’re looking for a creative, organised Social Media Executive with a strong focus on content planning, content creation and publishing.
What you’ll do
- Create monthly content calendars for each brand, covering campaigns, seasonal occasions, promotions and events.
- Develop ideas for Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels and other social content.
- Plan shoots in advance, prepare clear briefs and shot lists, and coordinate with our media team.
- Attend restaurants, venues and events to capture content and guide shoots.
- Film and edit engaging videos, including food content, team moments, event coverage and behind the scenes footage.
- Write captions that reflect each brand’s voice and encourage people to engage, visit or enquire.
- Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Keep Stories active with planned posts and live coverage during shoots and events.
- Check every post for accurate information, spelling, branding and presentation.
- Track performance and use the results to improve future content.

What we’re looking for
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating content for a business or brand.
- A portfolio showing your video, photography, caption writing or social media work.
- Confidence filming on a smartphone and editing with tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe.
- A good understanding of social media trends, platform formats and what makes content engaging.
- Strong planning skills and the ability to manage several brand calendars and deadlines.
- An eye for detail and a willingness to get involved during shoots and events.
- Availability to attend shoots across our locations, including some evenings and weekends.
