Rock Face

Rock Face is a disruptive challenger brand in men's care: skincare, deodorants, shower gels, and aftershaves in three premium scents. We've got one goal: become the UK's Number 1 independent men's care brand, and believe content gets us there first. Before we're seen on the shelf, we're felt in the feed. This is a brand built to be talked about, and we need someone to make sure it is.

About the Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Community Executive to bring Rock Face to life online. You'll be the heart and wit behind our channels, creating content that feels native, builds genuine connection with our audience, and keeps Rock Face in conversation.

You'll work closely with Jim (our Head Of Brand & Content) and Lav (our Head Of Growth Marketing), with real ownership of the day-to-day across Instagram, TikTok, and wherever our audience is next.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Channel Management

  • Look after the social media calendar across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Deliver content aligned with brand campaigns, seasonal editions, product launches, and key commercial moments, briefed in by the marketing team.
  • Lead low-fi (TikTok focused) content production, including reactive and culturally relevant posts.
  • Capture and create content: short-form video, photography, copy that feels native to each platform and true to Rock Face's tone of voice.
  • Create social content to support key product, campaign, and promotional activity.
  • Ensure consistency across every post: visually, tonally, and commercially.
  • Comfort and experience on camera would be advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Community Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day community interactions across comments and DMs, building real relationships with consumers rather than just broadcasting at them.
  • Create regular community content including capturing behind-the-scenes moments and polls, helping our customers to feel a part of the brand.
  • Surface community conversations and insights that can inform marketing activity and feed back to the wider team.

UGC & Creator Outreach

  • Support the delivery of Rock Face’s peer-to-peer creator and affiliate program, identifying and briefing micro-creators and genuine consumers who fit the brand.
  • Help to support and brief UGC creators to maintain a regular pipeline of authentic, high-performing content.
  • Build and manage relationships with creators who genuinely love Rock Face; tracking what content styles and formats resonate and perform.

Reporting

  • Monitor social performance metrics including engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance.
  • Provide regular reporting to Jim and Lav with observations and recommendations.
  • Stay across trends on social platforms, creator culture, and the wider FMCG landscape, especially outside of the men’s care category where still relevant to our customer.

About You

  • Up to 2 years of experience in social media, with a portfolio that proves you can make great content.
  • Strong content creator in your own right: comfortable shooting and editing short-form video, writing human copy.
  • Genuinely good at community. You know the difference between managing comments and actually building relationships.
  • Organised enough to run a content calendar without dropping balls, but reactive enough to jump on a moment when it matters. Excited to make bold, fun work and test new content ideas out.
  • Experience working with creators or influencers, even informally.
  • TikTok shop aware. You know what works for engagement vs. converting via shoppable content.
  • Commercially curious. You care about what the content is actually doing, not just how it looks.
  • Excited about men’s care, men’s mental health support, and creating a ‘rock for men’: the small, stacked routines that make men look, feel (and smell) better - helping them to be better friends, partners, and father-figures.

  • Salary: Up to £35,000 - depending on experience
  • Location: Hybrid. 2 days per week WFH, with 3 days per week in our office (2 mins walk from Clapham Junction station)
