We are looking for a storyteller.
Set within 520 acres on the Fife coastline, Fairmont St Andrews is home to two championship golf courses, a luxury spa, restaurants and bars, 213 bedrooms and an exciting calendar of weddings and events. There is no shortage of stories here – we're looking for the person to tell them.
As our Social Media Executive, you'll bring Fairmont St Andrews to life across our social and digital channels, capturing the people, places and experiences that make our resort special.
This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone with a creative eye, a passion for content and an instinct for spotting moments worth sharing.

What you'll be doing
- Creating engaging photography, video, Reels and written content across the resort.
- Managing and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Developing our social content calendar alongside the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Creating engaging copy that reflects the Fairmont tone of voice.
- Bringing seasonal campaigns, offers, events and resort experiences to life.
- Engaging with our online community and responding to comments and messages.
- Supporting influencer and content creator visits and collaborations.
- Keeping ahead of social trends and identifying new content opportunities.
- Monitoring performance, engagement and reach to understand what works.
- Working with teams across the resort to uncover great stories.
- Supporting the wider Marketing team with email campaigns, website content, photography, video and other marketing activity.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for
You'll be a storyteller first and a social media manager second - but genuinely both.
You'll spot the content opportunities other people walk past and know how to turn them into something people want to watch, read or share.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in social media, marketing or content creation.
- A strong creative eye and confidence capturing and editing photo and video content.
- Experience with platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- An understanding of social media trends, insights and performance.
- A proactive approach and willingness to get out across the resort and capture content as it happens.
- Experience within hospitality, luxury or lifestyle brands would be a bonus.
