Social Media Executive
Location: Swindon Support Centre (hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office)
Grade: C

About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated, creative and highly collaborative Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team, based at our Support Centre in Swindon.
Social media is becoming a major focal point of our marketing strategy. As the Social Media Executive, you will lead the evolution of TGJones’ organic social media and influencer activity. Reporting to the Marketing Controller, this role bridges creative storytelling with brand strategy. You will own the execution across all social platforms and ensure our community and influencer networks directly support our broader integrated campaigns and commercial priorities, driving dynamic channel growth, nurturing creator networks, and ensuring our online community sits at the core of every major campaign. Key duties will include;
- Social & Influencer Strategy: Support the development and execution of the organic social media and influencer strategy, ensuring absolute alignment with the wider marketing strategy
- Campaign Integration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Controller, Digital Marketing Manager and Trade Planning to ensure social and influencer plans are built into the creative briefing and delivery of all integrated marketing campaigns
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of highly engaging social content calendars
- Community Management: Maintain brand safety and ensure community tone of voice remains consistent, positive, and legally compliant
- Performance & Insight: Own the performance metrics for social channels. Track, report, and deliver actionable insights on campaign reach, engagement, sentiment, and influencer ROI to inform the annual marketing plan
- Trend & Competitor Monitoring: Keep the business at the forefront of social trends, platform algorithm updates, and pop-culture moments to maintain brand relevance

About You

Experience required will include;
- Strong experience managing social media platforms within a retail or consumer-facing brand
- Proven ability to create and direct/brief highly engaging social media content
- Experience supporting and managing end-to-end influencer campaigns
- Deep functional knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest etc) and social listening/analytics software
- Outstanding written communication, presentation, and creative copy skills
- Highly collaborative with strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional internal teams and external talent
