Organic Social Media | Instagram & Facebook | Content Creation | Short-Form Video | Community Engagement

Love Travel? Live and Breathe Social Media? Let's Talk.

At Not Just Travel, we're all about making travel more personal, exciting and accessible through expert, one-to-one travel planning.

And social media plays a huge part in sharing that story.

We're looking for a creative, confident and commercially minded Social Media Executive to bring our brand to life across social channels, create engaging content and help our Travel Consultants build their own social media presence.

This is a varied, hands-on opportunity for someone who loves creating content, understands what makes audiences engage and knows that successful social media is about more than likes and followers.

Think great storytelling, engaging video, genuine conversations and content that inspires people to explore the world.

The Role at a Glance

Social Media Executive

  • Hybrid Working | Christchurch, Dorset (3 days onsite)
  • Competitive Salary DOE + Excellent Benefits
  • Full-Time | Permanent

Reporting to: Campaigns & Content Manager

The Opportunity

You'll manage our customer-facing organic social media activity, currently focused on Facebook and Instagram, ensuring our content supports campaigns, builds brand trust and encourages enquiries.

But there's another important part to this role.

You'll also support our community of Travel Consultants, giving them the content, tools, training and confidence to use social media more effectively in their own businesses.

So, if you enjoy creating content as much as helping others succeed with it, you'll have plenty of opportunity to do both.

What You'll Be Doing

Create Content That Connects

  • Plan and manage the organic social media calendar across Not Just Travel's customer-facing channels.
  • Write, create, schedule and publish engaging content aligned with campaigns, travel trends and seasonal opportunities.
  • Produce compelling copy, imagery, reels and other short-form video content.
  • Plan, film and edit social-first video, using Travel Consultant stories, customer experiences and campaign opportunities.
  • Work closely with our Brand & Creative team, using approved templates and briefing new creative requirements.
  • Capture authentic stories and user-generated content, ensuring appropriate permissions are in place.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
