What you’ll do

As a Social Media Executive, you will manage and drive the organic social presence of a senior, high profile business leader for one of our key clients. Based in the UK and reporting to our Social Media Director, you’ll plan, write and publish content across social channels with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram to help build an authentic and engaging purposeful profile. You’ll work hand in hand with our Digital PR team so that social amplifies earned media, speaking opportunities and events, and every channel tells the same story.

  • Plan, write and publish organic content across LinkedIn and Instagram, working alongside the client team on existing engagements while exploring new territories of relevant interest.
  • Write all social copy in the profile owner’s own voice, keeping it personal, credible and true to their agreed positioning and narrative pillars.
  • Work with the Social Media Director to set publishing guidelines, cadence and content pillars for the profile.
  • Build and maintain the content calendar and approval workflow, making sure everything is signed off before it is published.
  • Partner with the Digital PR team to align social with media coverage, opinion pieces, interviews, speaking and panel opportunities and events, turning those moments into timely social content.
  • Liaise directly with the profile owner and their team on briefs, approvals and feedback.
  • Monitor platform trends and conversations relevant to the profile’s narrative pillars, and suggest timely reactive opportunities.
  • Report monthly on social performance and contribute to quarterly reviews of volume, frequency and resourcing.

About you

At least two years’ experience in social media, including planning and executing organic content for personal or executive profiles in the UK and Europe.

  • Expert, hands on knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram, including formats, native features and what performs on each. Experience on these two platforms is prioritised above all other channels.
  • Experience working closely with PR, communications or press office teams, and a clear understanding of how earned media, events and social work together.
  • Excellent copywriting skills – experience in English and French is preferred.
  • Comfortable working within approval workflows with senior stakeholders, and taking direct feedback from the person you represent.
  • Highly organised, able to work independently and as part of a team, and to deliver on deadline.
  • Experience in luxury, premium or corporate leadership sectors is a bonus.
