Are you someone who lives and breathes social media? Do you love creating content, spotting trends, coming up with new ideas, and finding ways to make people stop scrolling?
At Kara Healthcare, we're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join our team at our Head Office in Leicester.
About Kara Healthcare
At Kara Healthcare, we provide dementia, nursing, residential, and respite care across our homes. But what really makes our homes special is the people in them. Every day, our teams create moments worth sharing — from birthday celebrations and activities to staff achievements, community events, resident stories, and the little moments that make a big difference.
We want our social media to reflect that. We're looking for someone who can capture the personality of Kara Healthcare and show people what life is really like across our homes.

- Keeping up with social media trends and finding ways to make them work for Kara Healthcare.
- Planning and managing our social media content calendar.
- Writing captions that sound human, engaging, and true to our brand.
- Working with care home teams to find great stories and content worth sharing.
- Highlighting our residents, colleagues, achievements, events, and community involvement.
- Helping showcase what makes each of our homes unique.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns through engaging employer-brand content.
- Responding to comments and messages and helping build an active online community.
- Monitoring social media performance and using insights to improve future content.
- Helping develop Kara Healthcare's overall social media style and presence.
- Bringing new ideas to the team and being willing to try things that haven't been done before.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience creating short-form video content such as Reels and TikToks.

- Good knowledge of current social media trends.
