Social Media Fundraising Executive

Location: Cheadle

Salary: Up to £45,000 - DOE

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

We're working with a leading international charity to recruit a Social Media Fundraising Executive to join their growing digital communications team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded social media professional who understands how to turn online engagement into tangible fundraising results. The successful candidate will lead innovative digital fundraising campaigns, build relationships with influencers and content creators, and identify new opportunities to generate income through established and emerging social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver end-to-end social media fundraising campaigns that drive income and supporter acquisition.
  • Manage fundraising initiatives linked to online events, challenges, competitions and community campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, creators, ambassadors and external partners to maximise campaign reach and fundraising outcomes.
  • Explore opportunities across new and emerging channels including TikTok Shop, Twitch, Discord and social commerce platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide recommendations to improve ROI and supporter engagement.
  • Support donor acquisition and data growth through digital fundraising activity and lead generation campaigns.
  • Use AI-powered tools to enhance campaign planning, content creation, audience research and reporting.

About You

  • Previous experience in digital fundraising, social media fundraising, influencer marketing or partnership-focused marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns that generate income, leads or measurable engagement.
  • Experience managing influencer, creator or ambassador relationships.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of emerging digital trends, social commerce and online fundraising opportunities.
  • Comfortable using AI tools within marketing campaigns.
  • Experience within the charity, NGO or not-for-profit sector would be highly advantageous.
