About the Role
OKO is a smart plant-care product preparing to launch, and we’re looking for a part-time Social Media Graphic Designer to help bring our brand to life across social.
This is a remote role for approximately half a day per week, ideal for a current design student looking to gain hands-on experience working with an early-stage consumer brand.
Each week, you’ll work with our existing creative direction, photography, video and brand assets to plan and design the following week’s Instagram content — creating a cohesive mix of grid posts, carousels, Stories and Reel covers.
The brand identity and creative direction are already in place. Your role is to take the assets we create and turn them into thoughtful, engaging and visually consistent social content each week.
Success in the role means our social channels feel considered and cohesive, content is prepared ahead of schedule, and our creative direction is translated consistently across different formats.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
