Social Media Guru — Las Iguanas Brighton
Temporary Contract | 5 Hours Per Week | Brighton

Are you the person who always knows what’s trending, what people are talking about and what’s going to get them through the door?
Then we want to hear from you!
Las Iguanas Brighton is looking for a Social Media Guru to help us turn up the volume, grow our audience and — most importantly — grow sales.
This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk-and-post-a-picture job.
We want someone who will hit the streets of Brighton with our message, create exciting content, build local buzz and get people talking about Las Iguanas.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating fun, engaging and shareable content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Getting creative with reels, stories, videos, trends, offers and behind-the-scenes content
- Finding new ways to put Las Iguanas Brighton in front of local customers
- Taking our message out onto the streets — connecting with local businesses, students, groups and the Brighton community
- Building awareness of our food, drinks, events, offers and atmosphere
- Working with the restaurant team to capture authentic content
- Keeping an eye on what’s trending and jumping on opportunities quickly
- Growing followers, engagement and, most importantly, sales
- Helping turn online attention into bums on seats!

You don’t need years of marketing experience. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Naturally social, outgoing and confident
- TikTok and Instagram savvy
- Creative and full of ideas
- Comfortable being out and about representing the restaurant
- Able to create great content using a phone
- Energetic, proactive and not afraid to try something different
- Passionate about Brighton and its local community
- Commercially minded — you understand that likes are great, but customers are better!

The role
- Hours: 5 hours per week
- Contract: Temporary
- Location: Las Iguanas Brighton + out and about in Brighton
- Focus: Social media, local marketing, community engagement and driving sales
We’re looking for someone who can make those 5 hours count — someone who sees an opportunity and runs with it.
