Social Media & Content Manager

Dower & Hall Jewellery – Clapham, London
Office based

About Dower & Hall

Dower & Hall design and make high-quality contemporary jewellery in our London studio. Established in 1990, we have built a reputation for distinctive British jewellery design, quality craftsmanship and jewellery designed to be worn and loved for years.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and commercially minded Social Media & Content Manager to join our team in Clapham and take ownership of our social media and content.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating beautiful, engaging content but also understands that social media needs to deliver measurable results.

We want someone who can bring fresh ideas and energy to the brand, grow our audience and engagement, and help turn social activity into traffic and sales.

The Role

You will take day-to-day ownership of Dower & Hall's social channels and content, working closely with our ecommerce team, photographer and external PR agency to ensure our social, PR and wider brand activity work together.

Your responsibilities will include:

Social Media & Growth

  • Develop and execute a clear social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and other relevant and emerging platforms
  • Identify which channels, content and formats offer the greatest opportunities for Dower & Hall and focus our resources accordingly
  • Manage the social media calendar – planning, writing, creating and scheduling content
  • Create engaging social-first content including video, Stories, Reels, photography and other relevant formats
  • Grow our audience, reach and engagement across our social channels
  • Drive increased traffic and ultimately sales from social media
  • Manage our online community, engaging with followers and responding to customer conversations and enquiries
  • Monitor competitors, trends and developments within jewellery, fashion and the wider social landscape
  • Test new ideas, formats and channels and adapt our strategy according to the results

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

We are looking for someone with approximately 2-5 years' relevant experience, ideally within jewellery, fashion, beauty, luxury or another visually led consumer brand.

You will be:

  • A strong and instinctive content creator
  • Experienced in growing social accounts rather than simply maintaining them
  • Confident shooting and editing social-first video and imagery
  • Creative and visually strong, with a good understanding of brand aesthetics
  • Commercially minded and interested in how social can contribute to traffic and sales
  • Able to demonstrate measurable results from social accounts or campaigns you have previously managed
  • Comfortable helping to plan and coordinate photoshoots
  • An excellent copywriter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable analysing performance and using data to make decisions
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proactive, collaborative and full of ideas
  • Interested in emerging social platforms, content formats, AI and changes in how consumers discover brands

Experience with Canva, Photoshop, video editing or other creative tools would be useful, but proven social and content experience is more important to us than specific qualifications or software packages.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
