Job Title: Social Media Intern – X (Twitter) [Internship]

Location: Remote / Flexible

Type: Internship (Part-Time / Event-Based Hours)

Reports To: Social Media Manager

About Fairplay Exchange

Founded by punters for punters, Fairplay is an all-in-one betting platform bringing Sportsbook, Racing, and Social Betting together under one roof. Whether backing live odds against the bookie, streaming international horse and greyhound racing, or taking on friends head-to-head with custom peer-to-peer stakes, Fairplay gives bettors total flexibility, community, and control with zero house edge on peer-to-peer bets.

Role Overview

Are you a university student obsessed with sports, social media, and internet culture? We are looking for a sharp, creative, and sports-savvy Community Manager Intern to assist our live social presence on X (formerly Twitter).

In this role, you will be the voice of Fairplay Exchange during major sporting moments—reacting to match-day action, hopping on viral trends, driving engagement, and building a loyal, active community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Live Event Coverage: Work flexible/outside traditional office hours (evenings and weekends) to cover major sporting events, including Premier League, UEFA Champions League, major Horse Racing meets, and key global sporting events.
  • Real-Time Content & Engagement: Live post, quote tweet, spark debates, create/share memes, and react instantaneously to live sporting moments to maximise reach, impressions, and engagement.
  • Community Building & Interaction: Actively reply to comments, direct messages, and user posts to cultivate an authentic, highly engaged community.
  • Brand Tone of Voice (TOV): Rapidly adapt to and execute Fairplay’s brand identity, effectively using humour, banter, and sarcasm while keeping content relatable to sports fans and bettors.
  • Social Listening & Trend Jacking: Monitor trending sports topics, viral formats, and industry banter on X to position Fairplay at the centre of ongoing conversations.
  • Compliance & Responsible Gambling: Ensure all posts align with gambling industry regulations, advertising rules, and social media compliance guidelines (guidance and training provided).
  • Additional Opportunities: Openness to supporting other marketing, content, or social initiatives within Fairplay Exchange.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
