Social content audit: review recent performance across handles
Trending content research / sessions with social content creation team

Amplify content writing: draft/repurpose copy for existing content

We are looking for a short term Social Media Intern to support the global social media team with reporting, metrics, competitor analysis and content research. This role will provide hands-on experience in social media analytics, executive social media strategy, trend research and content ideation, while contributing to practical outputs that will help inform the team’s reporting and content planning.

The intern will work closely with the social operations team to review performance data, research competitor activity, identify trending social formats and contribute to brainstorming sessions. They will also help pull together key findings into a final presentation for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support research into social media reporting metrics, performance trends and competitive analysis.
  • Pull and review data on competitor social media accounts, including corporate channels and executive social media activity.
  • Research how competitors are using executive social media to build credibility, influence market conversations and support corporate narratives.
  • Review recent social content performance across selected handles and contribute to a creative social audit.
  • Research trending social content formats, topics and creative approaches to support future content ideation.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for social content concepts.

Desired candidate profile

  • Interested in social media, marketing, communications, analytics or digital content.
  • Comfortable with research, organising information and summarising findings clearly.
  • Curious about what makes social content perform well across different platforms and audiences.
  • Able to look at social media activity and identify patterns, themes or useful insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with reporting documents, competitor tracking and content examples.
  • Confident communicator who is happy to contribute ideas in brainstorms and team discussions.
  • Proactive, organised and willing to learn new tools, processes and ways of working.
  • An interest in executive social media, thought leadership or corporate storytelling would be a plus.
