About Cotta

Cotta is a curated food marketplace bringing meals from independent chefs, artisan makers and producers together in one delivery. We launched in July 2026 and we're now focused on building our community and audience across social media as we grow.

The Role

We're looking for someone to help us build Cotta's following on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. You'll work primarily from our existing photo and video library, but if you want to shoot new content yourself, we're open to that too, whatever gets the best result. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who already understands what makes content work on social media and wants to prove it with a real brand and a real budget behind them. Do well here and there's a genuine path to a permanent seat on the team.

More than a marketing internship

We're a lean team, which means you won't be boxed into one lane. Alongside social media, you'll get exposure to how the rest of the business actually runs, product, partnerships, operations, whatever's happening that week. If you want to understand how a startup works end to end, not just how to run an Instagram account, this is the kind of seat you don't often get as an intern.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We care more about instinct and appetite to learn than years of experience. If you're a recent graduate with little or no professional experience, that's exactly who we're looking for. If you've got a couple of years under your belt already, that's welcome too.

What you'll do

  • Create engaging posts, Reels and short-form video, working from Cotta's existing image and video library or shooting new content yourself if you'd rather, across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
  • Track social and cultural trends and translate the relevant ones into content ideas for Cotta
  • Help grow our follower base and engagement across all three platforms
  • Edit and design content using whatever tools you're most comfortable with, Canva, Instagram's native editing tools, CapCut, or similar (Canva access provided, but we're not precious about the toolkit)
  • Support managing community interactions (comments, DMs) and keep our channels feeling responsive and alive
  • Monitor performance (likes, shares, follower growth, watch time) and feed learnings back into what we post next
  • Support the wider marketing team with ad hoc content and campaign needs

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • A genuine, demonstrable interest in social media, you understand what makes people stop scrolling and why
  • Personal experience creating engaging content (your own accounts, a side project, a passion page, whatever it is, show us)
  • Comfortable using at least one design/editing tool (Canva, CapCut, Instagram's native editors, etc.), we care about the output, not which tool you use
  • Strong written English and an eye for detail
  • Based in or able to commute to London
  • Eager to learn, genuinely curious, happy to ask questions and take feedback on the chin

What you'll get

  • Direct mentorship from Cotta's executive leadership team and exposure to how a startup builds a brand from the ground up
  • Real ownership of channels with a genuine audience, not busywork
  • A genuine, front-of-mind path to extend or convert to a permanent role for the right person
  • Standard part-time employee terms: pro-rated annual leave (approx. 16.8 days/year, roughly 8 days across the 6-month placement) and pension auto-enrolment (subject to standard eligibility criteria), same statutory rights as any other Cotta employee
