We're looking for a talented Social Media Lead on behalf of a highly respected agency, supporting the social media activity for a major consumer brand.
This is an exciting five-month fixed-term contract for an experienced social media professional who can lead strategic thinking, creative delivery and client relationships, ensuring standout social content across multiple platforms.
- Salary: Competitive
- Contract Type: 5-month fixed-term contract
- Working Pattern: Hybrid
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end social media delivery for a major brand, ensuring high-quality output across all social channels
- Develop insight-led content strategies, creative ideas and platform-specific recommendations that support brand objectives
- Oversee content production, community management, creator partnerships and always-on social planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, presenting strategies, concepts and performance recommendations with confidence
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets and production schedules are met
- Provide leadership and guidance to the wider social team, helping to maintain high standards across all deliverables
- Monitor platform trends, audience behaviours and cultural moments to identify opportunities for relevant and engaging social content

Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in social media, with proven experience in a senior agency-side role involving client account management and strategic planning.
- Strong background delivering social media campaigns for large clients, ideally within F&B, FMCG, retail, hospitality or other consumer-focused sectors
- Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, with a clear understanding of platform-specific content strategies
- Experience leading creator and influencer activity, including talent selection, briefing and campaign oversight
- Confident communicator with the ability to present recommendations, strategies and creative concepts to senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, production timelines and budgets
- Demonstrable understanding of social trends, online culture and how social media contributes to brand growth and audience engagement
