Job Opportunity: Global Social Media Lead
Our client is building a new global in-house social capability and is looking for an experienced social leader to shape its direction from the ground up. You’ll join a creative organisation operating across international hubs, with the opportunity to influence how a major global brand communicates across social channels. This is a high-profile position combining strategic leadership, creative ambition and commercial awareness, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and the freedom to establish new ways of working. You’ll help move social from a reactive publishing function into a proactive, insight-led engine that creates distinctive, relevant and engaging content for modern audiences.
Role Highlights
- Build and lead a new social media function spanning international creative hubs.
- Set channel strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, adapting content to each audience.
- Turn performance data and audience insights into sharper creative direction and publishing plans.
- Develop creator, influencer and co-creation programmes that produce authentic, platform-native content.
- Partner with creative teams, agencies and senior leaders to deliver consistent, high-impact campaigns.

You Will Need
- Proven experience leading global, multi-channel social strategies across B2B, B2C or complex service environments.
- Strong understanding of social algorithms, search behaviour, captions, GEO/SEO and platform-native content.
- Confidence using analytics, reach data and funnel insights to improve creative performance.
- Experience managing creators, influencers, agencies and senior stakeholders.
- A forward-thinking approach to content production, emerging technology and generative AI.
