Remote. Full-time.

Unite is The Agency Alternative. We build the right team around the brief instead of forcing every brief through the same old agency machine. No bloated overheads. No mystery mark-ups. No "meet the A-team, get the C-team".

This role is for someone who makes the work, not just manages it.

There's no shortage of social people who can write a strategy and hand it to someone else to build. We want the opposite. Someone who makes things happen - turns up on a client site, gets the shot, cuts it the same day, writes the post, puts it live - then does it better next week because they analysed what the last one did.

You'll have a say in the plan and your input will shape it. But the plan isn't the job. Making it happen is the job.

You’ll be two or three years in, already making content you're proud of, ready for your own accounts and a bigger opportunity.

Self-sufficient is the default. Bigger productions get proper support from our freelance network, but the everyday work shouldn't be waiting on a crew to make it happen.

The Work

  • Shaping content plans with us and the client, then being the one who delivers them - mostly B2B, some B2C
  • Shooting stills and video, on client sites, at events, wherever the story is
  • Editing to platform, primarily LinkedIn, plus Instagram, TikTok and YouTube where they earn their place
  • Writing copy that sounds like a person, not a brand deck
  • Scheduling, publishing and handling day-to-day community management
  • Running Unite's own channels. We sell an alternative to the agency model, so ours need to look like it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The client side

  • Owning your accounts end to end: timeline, budget, scope, and quality control before anything leaves the building
  • Presenting plans and ideas to clients, and making the case for them
  • Briefing and directing freelance specialists from our network when a brief needs more hands
  • Turning client feedback into clear direction rather than a longer to-do list
  • Reading the numbers and reporting in plain English, with a point of view on what happens next
  • Keeping clients confident, informed and onside

What you'll need

  • Two years minimum in B2B social. Consumer instincts don't transfer on their own, and it shows.
  • Work you shot and edited yourself. Phone-shot is fine. Good is what matters.
  • Fluency in the edit - Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, whatever you actually use
  • Copywriting you'd put your name to
  • Analytics you can act on, not just export
  • The confidence to present an idea, defend it, and have the awkward conversation about scope when it comes
  • The organisation to run several accounts at once without dropping the detail

This probably isn't for you if

  • Your only experience is scheduling, listening and community management
  • You've always had a production team sitting between you and the camera
  • You'd rather stay behind the camera than be in the client meeting
  • You think a content calendar is a strategy
  • You need everything defined before you can start

What you'll get

  • Salary based on what you bring, reviewed as the accounts grow
  • Full-time remote, with client shoots, events and team days in person
  • Access to Drafted, our network of freelance creative talent
  • Variety across sectors: consumer, B2B, financial services, construction, hospitality, food
  • Ownership of the work and the relationships around it
  • A business that's already built, with plenty of room left to grow

How to apply

Send a link to work you made yourself - shot, edited, written, posted. Then answer this in your own words: Pick a B2B brand whose social isn't working. What would you change in the first 30 days, and why?

Keep it short. We'd rather read 200 sharp words than 800 safe ones.

If you believe in the alternative, unite with us.
