Are you a social media enthusiast looking for your next opportunity that will bring creativity, excitement and plenty of dogs to your daily work life?
Our fast-growing business is looking for a creative and commercially minded Social Media Manager to help us grow our social presence, build our community and create content that gets people (and their pooches) talking.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with a passion for all things social and all things dogs, who can develop and implement an effective social media strategy across our key channels. From big campaign ideas and product launches to reactive trends and always-on content, you’ll be responsible for creating social-first activity that builds brand love, drives engagement and supports wider business objectives.
This person needs to be ready to own our social channels, have their finger firmly on the pulse of the latest trends and understand what makes content stop the scroll. You’ll work closely with our creative, marketing, eCommerce and wider teams, to bring campaigns to life and maximise their impact across social.
You’ll also be responsible for using data and insights to shape our strategy, reporting on performance and continually testing new formats, ideas and approaches to help us grow.
Pooch & Mutt is remote first and run by a small, talented and multi-faceted team. The successful applicant will report to the Brand Lead, while working closely with the eCommerce, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure social plays a key role in achieving our wider business goals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
