Job Title: Editorial & Content Communications Associate (Head of Social Lead – EMEA)

Role Summary
We are seeking a Head of Social Lead to join an industry-leading global communications team as an Editorial & Content Communications Associate. This is a high-impact, strategic, and operational role designed for a hands-on Social Media Lead with 10–15 years of deep social media and communications experience. You will act as the region's go-to social expert, driving best practices, scaling pilot initiatives, and partnering with cross-functional teams and senior executives across EMEA, APAC, and CALA. If you are a socially savvy communications professional who thrives on the "nuts and bolts" of social media execution—from launching new channels to creating video best practices and amplifying cutting-edge AI product launches—this role offers an exciting platform to make a global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Operational Execution
Act as the knowledge partner and social media lead across EMEA, APAC, and CALA, driving best practices across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Turn strategic concepts and pilot projects into scalable, operational processes across multiple regional teams.
Lead and support channel launches (e.g., expanding regional LinkedIn presence) and champion high-quality social video content.
Collaborate closely with internal Marketing teams to integrate organic social strategy with paid campaigns and major product moments (e.g., launching new AI tools and models).

Executive Communications & Stakeholder Management
Partner directly with senior executives to shape, elevate, and operationalise their personal social media presence and executive voice.
Write speeches, Q&As, executive posts, and background notes; prepare executives for external events through coaching, visual support, and event management assistance.
Act as a strong communicator capable of "rallying the troops" and fostering seamless collaboration across internal and external cross-functional stakeholders. -
Editorial Content & CMS Management (~5–10% of role)
Support the editorial management and feature development of the global flagship blog.
Direct and evaluate the work of external creative agencies, production houses, and third-party vendors.
Conduct journalistic-style research and conduct interviews with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Managers) to uncover and draft compelling brand stories.
Write, line-edit, and copy-edit engaging content across multiple formats, including newsletters, blog posts, and video scripts. -
Multimedia & Data-Driven Insights
Guide the planning, style, and production of video and multimedia content, ensuring brand and visual voice alignment.
Analyse social and platform data analytics to generate interpretable insights, refining editorial and social strategies accordingly.

Candidate Profile & Key Qualifications
Experience Level: 10–15 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and strategic communications.
Agency & Comms Background: Proven background working within a social media agency or fast-paced in-house comms team, with deep knowledge of running multi-platform campaigns.
Platform Mastery: Deep proficiency across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and modern social video formats.
Leadership Style: Strategic yet grounded—someone who enjoys the execution and "nuts and bolts" of social, with the ability to inspire and upskill cross-functional teams.
Editorial & Copywriting Skills: Strong background in editorial writing, copy-editing, and authorial voice, alongside basic experience managing content management systems (CMS).
Tech & AI Enthusiasm: Excited by innovative tech products and skilled at translating complex AI developments into compelling public stories.
