Social Media Manager · Scape

ScapeWorld Entertainment · Remote · Long-term Contract

About us

We are Scape, a Swedish game studio of about 30 people, fully remote by choice. We are launching Scape on Steam Early Access later this year: a growing platform of multiplayer games where a player's identity carries across all of them. The first game inside Scape is Gravity: a precision climbing game where 100 players share one server, one tower, and one long way down. Our senior team has shipped and run live games at studios including Arrowhead (Helldivers 2), Avalanche Studios, and Ubisoft.

Gravity is built for the clip: a hundred players, one tower, one long way down. We are looking for the person who turns that into a feed people follow.

The role

You run our social channels hands-on: YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram Reels. You plan the content with our Lead Commercial Manager, and then you make it yourself: you capture footage from the game, cut it, publish it natively on each platform, answer the comments, read the numbers, and adjust. This is a creator role as much as a manager role; if you brief editors rather than edit, this is not your job. One working fact to know before applying: our clips are visual-first by design, so the footage carries the moment and text never carries the joke. You report to the Lead Commercial Manager. Trailer production, creator outreach, community channels and paid campaigns sit with other seats.

What you will own

  • Short-form content on our channels end to end: capture from the game, edit, and native publishing on YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram Reels.
  • Execution of the content calendar, planned together with the Lead Commercial Manager.
  • Format development: finding the repeatable clip formats that fit the game and the platform, and retiring the ones that stop working.
  • Comment engagement on our posts, in the first window after publishing, where it decides how far a post travels.
  • The channel numbers: what worked, why, and what we change, read weekly and fed into the commercial review.
  • Reactive content when a moment fits our voice, made and out while the moment is alive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You

  • Cut short-form video yourself as your daily craft, in CapCut, Premiere or an equivalent you have mastered.
  • Have run a brand's or a game's social accounts hands-on, and can show the posts, their numbers, and your own role in each.
  • Know what each platform rewards and cut for each one, never one file pushed to four places.
  • Are comfortable making clips that work without text on screen: the visual carries the moment.
  • Can say why a post performed, from its numbers, and repeat what worked.
  • Communicate clearly in English.
  • Work a day that fits our team's spread: anywhere from two hours behind CET to Asia-Pacific hours works for us.
  • Are fluent in games and gaming culture, as a player or from work.
  • Have experience capturing game footage or pulling highlights from streams.

Helpful, not required

  • Motion graphics or light design skills, for example After Effects or Photoshop.
  • Additional languages beyond English.
  • Experience with scheduling and analytics tooling for social channels.

What we offer

The channels are yours to run daily and fully remote work with flexible hours. We care about what gets done, and your day overlaps CET. A small team of senior professionals around you, people who have shipped and run live games, easy to reach and genuinely engaged in the work. And a rare moment to join: a game built to be clipped, months from launch, where the work you do shows up in the result every week.

Practical

  • Remote. We are a distributed team, and your working day overlaps our spread from CET to Singapore.
  • Full time, on a long-term contract.
  • Recruitment is ongoing.

How to apply

Apply through the link; a few short questions are part of the application form. If we shortlist you, the next step is interviews with the Lead Commercial Manager, including a walkthrough of your own published work and the choices behind it. We reply to everyone at every step.
