About London Elite Youth

London Elite Youth is an independent football development organisation working with talented academy and grassroots players across London.

Established in 2015, we’ve built a strong reputation for player development and are now looking for someone to help us take the next step in how we capture and communicate what we do.

We’re looking for a creative and ambitious Social Media & Content Lead to take ownership of our growing digital presence.

This is not simply a social media scheduling role.

We’re looking for someone who can plan it, capture it, create it and publish it.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the founder to develop the content and digital identity of London Elite Youth.

The role combines on-location content creation with remote editing, planning and social media management.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing our social media and content strategy
  • Creating and managing a consistent content calendar
  • Attending selected training sessions, camps and events
  • Capturing high-quality photography and videography
  • Producing Instagram Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts
  • Supporting the development of longer-form YouTube content
  • Editing video and photography
  • Creating engaging football and player-development content
  • Identifying stories and content opportunities within our programmes
  • Writing and packaging social content
  • Scheduling and publishing content
  • Monitoring content performance and identifying what works
  • Helping maintain and develop a consistent visual identity
  • Contributing ideas during regular content and brand planning meetings

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Understands social-first content
  • Can shoot high-quality video and photography
  • Has strong video-editing skills
  • Understands Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Can recognise great content opportunities as they happen

  • Can work independently and proactively

  • Has an interest in football, sport or youth development

Working Arrangement

This is a hybrid freelance position.

Most planning and editing can be completed remotely.

However, you’ll need to be available to attend selected evening and weekend football sessions and events across London.

Initially, we’d expect approximately 1–2 on-location sessions per week, alongside remote content creation and planning.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for more than someone to occasionally film training.

We want someone who can help shape the digital identity of London Elite Youth and potentially grow alongside the organisation.

For the right person, there is significant scope to take greater ownership of our content and digital strategy as the role develops.

Interested?

Complete our application form and include:

  • A short introduction
  • Portfolio/showreel
  • Examples of social accounts or brands you’ve worked with
  • Photography/videography experience
  • Editing software
  • Equipment
  • Availability
  • Expected freelance rate/retainer

Applications close: Sunday 30 August 2026

Selected applicants will be invited for an informal conversation to discuss the role, portfolio and ideas for London Elite Youth.
