Company Description
Delight Foods International Ltd is a growing UK food brand specialising in authentic West African food and drink products, including Delight Hausa Koko and Delight Burkina. Our products are stocked by independent Afro-Caribbean retailers across the UK, and we are focused on growing our brand, expanding distribution and reaching a wider audience. We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to take ownership of our digital presence and help build Delight Foods into a recognised household brand.
Role Description
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating and managing content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. This is a hands-on role. You will create content, visit retailers, work with influencers, engage with customers and develop campaigns that increase brand awareness and support sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage weekly and monthly social media content.
- Create and edit engaging videos, Reels, TikToks, photos and graphics.
- Visit retailers, events and our operations to capture content.
- Develop creative campaigns around Hausa Koko, Burkina and future products.
- Manage comments, messages and online community engagement.
- Identify and work with influencers, creators and brand ambassadors.
- Organise giveaways, competitions, product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Work with retailers to create in-store and collaborative content.
- Stay on top of social media trends and identify opportunities for the brand.
- Maintain a consistent Delight Foods tone, look and brand identity.
- Track content performance, engagement, reach and audience growth.
- Use performance data to improve future content and campaigns.
- Work closely with the sales and management teams to support business growth.

What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Excellent short-form video creation and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and what makes content perform.
- Creative, confident and comfortable producing content regularly.
- Strong communication and copywriting skills.
- Comfortable approaching customers, retailers and members of the public for content.
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
- Experience with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
- Experience in food, FMCG, lifestyle or consumer brands would be an advantage.
- Experience working with influencers or creators would also be beneficial.
- A strong portfolio and proven social media ability are more important than formal academic qualifications.
