Vacua Students is growing rapidly and offers opportunities to shape a product that directly improves international students’ everyday lives.
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will plan and execute social media campaigns across platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement among international students. Daily tasks include creating and scheduling posts, writing captions, optimizing content for each platform, and monitoring trends relevant to student communities in the UK. The role also involves responding to comments and messages, collaborating with the team to align content with product updates, and tracking performance metrics to refine social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will contribute ideas for community-building initiatives and promotional activities that support Vacua Students’ growth.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for audience growth and engagement.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Writing skills for clear, engaging, and culturally sensitive messaging.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Content Strategy to plan campaigns, align messaging with brand goals, and tailor content to international student audiences.
- Experience managing social media accounts for brands, communities, or startups is beneficial.
- Familiarity with international student experiences, especially in the UK, and an interest in student communities is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use social media analytics tools.
- Background in marketing, communications, media, or related fields is preferred but not required.
