About SayAfter
SayAfter is the family storytelling app. We help families preserve the stories behind their favourite moments, ensuring that memories, voices and life experiences can be shared with children, grandchildren and future generations. We're still in the early stages of our journey, but we've already begun working with organisations including hospices and charities, with exciting partnerships continuing to develop. We're now looking for a creative Social Media Manager who wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
The Role
This isn't a role where you'll simply schedule posts. We're looking for someone who can help shape our social media presence, develop a recognisable visual identity and build a loyal community around the SayAfter brand. You'll work closely with our founder to turn ideas, stories and real life moments into engaging content that connects with people emotionally.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Develop a consistent brand identity and visual style across all platforms.
- Design static graphics, carousel posts and short form videos.
- Repurpose founder videos into engaging social media content.
- Write compelling captions that encourage conversation and sharing.
- Schedule content and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
- Respond to comments and messages where appropriate.
- Suggest new content ideas, campaigns and ways to grow the brand organically.
- Help us establish SayAfter as the family storytelling app.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
