Senior Social Media Manager – EMEA

📍 Location: London, King’s Cross
💰 Pay: £63.46 per hour PAYE + holiday pay
📅 Contract Duration: September 2026 – April 2027
🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Tuesday–Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join a high-profile global technology business, supporting social communications across EMEA and an expanding international remit.

Sitting within a central communications team, you’ll act as a social media expert and trusted partner to communications teams across multiple markets. You’ll help bring major product announcements to life on social, advise teams on platform best practice, support senior executives with their social presence and find creative ways to turn complex stories into engaging, accessible content.

LinkedIn will be a major focus of the role, so we’re particularly interested in candidates with strong experience managing corporate LinkedIn content and/or advising senior executives on their personal LinkedIn presence.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver social approaches for major product launches and announcements, with a particular focus on technology and AI.
  • Create social toolkits enabling regional communications teams to activate global announcements effectively within their markets.
  • Turn complex and technical subject matter into clear, creative and engaging social content.
  • Advise communications teams across EMEA and internationally on social best practice, emerging trends and creative opportunities.
  • Support senior executives with their LinkedIn presence, messaging and content.
  • Develop concepts and scripts for social-first video, with the confidence to capture simple content on a phone when required.
  • Work with agencies and creative partners on video production and editing.
  • Write and edit high-quality social copy and editorial content.
  • Edit and publish blog content through a CMS.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on integrated and paid social campaigns.
  • Inspire teams, share best practice and continuously introduce new ideas.

What we’re looking for

  • Significant experience in social media, social content or digital communications.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, including corporate channels and/or executive profiles.
  • Excellent hands-on copywriting and editorial skills.
  • Experience developing social campaigns around product launches, announcements or major brand moments.
  • Strong understanding of social-first content and what makes compelling video.
  • Ability to simplify complex subject matter and turn it into accessible, engaging stories.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ideally working across multiple markets or regions.
  • A creative, proactive and agile approach – comfortable advising senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with content.
  • Strong knowledge of evolving social media trends, formats and platform best practice.

Particularly relevant backgrounds

We’re open to candidates from both agency and in-house environments. Experience within a social-first agency, the social/digital arm of an integrated agency, technology business or major consumer brand would all be highly relevant.

You might currently be working as a Senior Social Media Manager, Social Media Lead, Social Content Lead, Digital Content Manager, Content Manager or Digital Communications Manager. Previous technology experience is useful but not essential. What matters most is deep social expertise, excellent writing, strong creative judgement and the ability to influence and inspire teams.
