ROLE
The Social Media Manager is responsible for telling the story of youth-led community action.
Critical Action Lab is a network of science organisations, including the Natural History Museum of Utah, The Wild Center, the Museum of Discovery and Science, Phipps Conservatory and Mass Audubon. Together, we run a year-long Fellowship for 30 young people, who meet monthly to practice CAL's Nine Habits, a research-backed framework for effective local action.
You'll shape Fellows' monthly project updates (images, video and text) into content, working alongside award-winning filmmakers Rubber Republic and a small team of experienced creatives. As well as publishing Lab Note edits, you’ll create original material of your own, drawing on CAL’s video archives, the Nine Habits, current affairs and popular trends.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
