Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Remote (London-based) · 25–30 hrs/week · £15–£20/hr · Contractor

About us

GrowthPoint PR is a premium PR agency. We place clients in publications like Forbes, Entrepreneur, Men's Health and USA Today, and run bespoke press tours across the UK, US and Australia - including podcast appearances (Dropping Bombs with Brad Lea) and TV slots (KTNV). We also shoot photography for selected UK clients - we recently covered the McDonald's x Xbox launch event in London - and help clients establish their Google Knowledge Panels.

The role

We're looking for a Swiss Army knife: part marketer, part content creator, and someone who wants to grow into the role rather than work through a task list. Right now we have a backlog of content from past client work, social profiles that need proper management, and a list of content ideas with nobody to bring them to life. Our marketing engine is about to switch on, and whoever joins will shape how our brand is positioned. The brief is simple: make GrowthPoint PR look like the premium agency it is. When a prospective client lands on our Instagram, LinkedIn or website, they should see a brand that matches the quality of our work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Nice to have: video editing, graphic design, motion graphics and content strategy experience. We're not looking for someone flawless - we're looking for someone organised, coachable and easy to work with. Skills can be taught; how you approach a challenge can't.

Location & travel

Strong preference for London-based candidates. Our founder is in London and you'll meet him occasionally for shoot days or ad hoc events. Some travel may be required; expenses covered.

How it works

  • 4-week paid probation to review your work, responsiveness to feedback and how you handle amendments
  • 25–30 hrs/week during this period
  • If the work is strong and posts perform, we're looking to take someone on full time

To apply, send:

  • Your portfolio or reel (video edits, graphics, any social strategy work)
  • Confirmation of your availability (25–30 hrs/week)
  • Whether you also offer videography/photography in London
