Why be a Social Media Manager at THG Cult Beauty?
As Social Media & Community Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Cult Beauty’s day-to-day social operation, turning our social strategy into a best-in-class content calendar that brings together brand storytelling, product discovery, community and culture.
Working closely with the Social Media Lead and our channel owners, you’ll oversee social planning and delivery while owning our community and creator relationships — ensuring we’re publishing brilliant content while building an engaged social community.
As Social Media Manager you’ll:
- Own and manage the master organic social calendar, ensuring the right balance of brand, campaign, commercial, reactive and always-on content across our channels.
- Work closely with Content, Creative, Buying, Retail Media and Marketing teams to capture social requirements, coordinate deliverables and ensure key launches, campaigns and commercial moments are delivered effectively and on time.
- Brief channel owners, social creatives and creators, ensuring content is delivered against the agreed strategy, calendar and channel requirements.
- Own Cult Beauty’s community management and engagement strategy, building meaningful relationships with our audience across comments, DMs, Broadcast and other community touchpoints.
- Identify recurring customer questions, conversations and behaviours, feeding community insights back into the wider business to inform future content and opportunities.
- Manage and grow our content creators arm of Cult Collective, developing relationships with existing creators while identifying new talent aligned with our brand, audiences and content ambitions.
- Own the organic creator and UGC process, from developing briefs and commissioning content through to managing delivery, maintaining a strong content pipeline and tracking performance.
- Stay close to social trends, competitor activity and cultural moments, working with the wider team to identify relevant reactive opportunities and inspiration.
- Collate weekly and monthly channel reporting, using performance, community and creator insights to identify key learnings, optimise existing content franchises and inform future planning.
- Support the Social Media Lead in delivering the wider social strategy, continually improving how the team plans, produces and delivers content.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
