About CO-ANU
CO-ANU is a London and Dubai-based creative and influencer marketing agency specialising in luxury, fragrance and beauty. We work with global brands to build culturally relevant social strategies, launch products and create content that connects brands with today’s consumers. Our experience spans names including Ariana Grande Fragrances, Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Penhaligon’s and L’Oréal, alongside emerging luxury and fragrance brands across international markets.
As we continue to grow our presence in the Middle East, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Dubai team and take ownership of the day-to-day social presence of key client accounts.
The Role
This is a hands-on social role for someone who genuinely understands how brands need to show up online today.
You’ll own social media management across multiple client accounts, from strategy and content planning through to copywriting, publishing, community management and reporting.
Alongside planned content, you’ll be expected to think reactively — spotting relevant trends, cultural moments and opportunities, and being comfortable picking up a phone and creating high-quality social-first content when the moment calls for it.
You should understand the difference between simply maintaining a social feed and building a distinctive, relevant brand presence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning the day-to-day management of client social channels across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms
- Developing social media strategies aligned with each brand’s positioning, audience and commercial objectives
- Building and managing monthly content calendars across multiple accounts
- Planning content pillars, formats, messaging and publishing schedules
- Writing compelling, platform-first captions and social copy while adapting tone of voice across different brands
- Creating reactive and trend-led content, including capturing and editing content directly on mobile
- Identifying emerging platform trends, formats, sounds and cultural conversations and translating them into relevant brand opportunities
- Briefing and collaborating with creative teams on campaign and always-on content
- Developing concepts, moodboards, shot lists and briefs for social content shoots
- Supporting content production on shoots and capturing additional behind-the-scenes and reactive assets
- Publishing and scheduling content across social platforms
- Managing social communities and identifying opportunities for meaningful audience engagement
- Maintaining a strong understanding of platform updates, algorithms, social behaviours and best practice
- Monitoring social performance and using insights to continuously optimise content and strategy
- Producing clear monthly reports with recommendations on what to evolve, test and scale
- Working closely with our wider London and Dubai teams across creative, influencer marketing and client strategy
- Presenting ideas and recommendations confidently to clients

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut + Adobe

- Confidence working directly with clients and presenting creative ideas
- A proactive mindset — someone who sees an opportunity and acts on it rather than waiting for a brief
