Social Media & Content Manager

Ambela | Full-time | In-person, Cardiff | 5 days a week, 40 hours

Salary: £32,000–£42,000 (dependent on experience)

About Ambela

Ambela is a denim-focused clothing brand built around a loyal, engaged community. Founded by an influencer with 2.8m followers, we're looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to bring strategy and organisation to our social presence as we grow.

Website: ambela.com
Instagram & TikTok: @ambelajeans

About the Role

You'll take ownership of our day-to-day social media output, from planning the feed and posting schedule, to spotting what's working and turning that into fresh content ideas, to sourcing the right influencers and UGC creators for upcoming campaigns. You'll work across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest, and work closely with our Head of Marketing (who runs Meta ads and reporting) and report directly to the founder.

This is a hands-on, in-person role based in our Cardiff office, for someone with a sharp eye for what makes a fashion brand's feed feel cohesive and current, and a genuine interest in denim/fashion culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Liaise with our in-house editor to brief and shape content
  • Help plan photoshoots, sourcing and securing locations and models, as well as assisting with styling purchases
  • Assist on location at photoshoots
  • Keep on top of trends, competitor activity, and platform changes relevant to fashion/denim brands
  • Track social performance and set targets around key brand activity, events, and product drops
  • Produce light reporting on organic social performance, tracked against targets

What We're Looking For

  • A strong eye for aesthetics and feed curation
  • Comfort working with performance data to inform content decisions, with a decent understanding of reporting, particularly on the organic side
  • Experience identifying and vetting influencers/UGC creators (negotiation experience is a plus but not required)
  • Highly organised, able to manage a content calendar and multiple moving parts independently
  • Basic photo/video editing skills are a bonus, though not essential, you'll work alongside a dedicated editor
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working closely with founders and senior stakeholders
  • Able to work in person, 5 days a week, from our Cardiff office or on location as required
  • Ability to drive to photoshoot locations across the UK is preferable
