Are you a digital native with a passion for content strategy, brand storytelling, and global community engagement? G4S is looking for a proactive Social Media Manager to lead and execute our international social media strategy across key global channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Youtube.
While you will help shape international social content, a significant part of this role centers on brand compliance, channel governance, and day-to-day message management across our global footprint. You will act as the primary brand guardian, approving posts across nearly 90 local and regional channels to maintain global brand standard, while actively managing routine inquiries and messages across our core corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Global Strategy: Act as the in-house social media expert, tracking external trends and identifying opportunities to boost engagement and elevate G4S’s international reputation.
- Manage Core Channels: Oversee day-to-day international content management, moderation, channel auditing, and group social media architecture.
- Corporate Inbox & Community Management: Take ownership of corporate inbox management, actively monitoring, triaging, and responding to direct messages, inquiries, and comments across primary channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and HR to support employer branding, drive lead generation, and strengthen recruitment and talent retention initiatives.
- Lead Employee Advocacy: Direct the social media advocacy program for internal sales and recruitment teams by providing training, managing advocacy tools, and encouraging adoption.
- Crisis Management: Play a key role in monitoring social channels and guiding communication strategies as part of the group's established crisis response framework.
- Analytics & Vendor Management: Utilise social listening to track metrics, deliver monthly data reports, and manage key vendor relationships such as Hootsuite, Talkwalker, and ZeroFox.

- Creativity: Flexible, energetic and self-motivated. We are looking for an individual who is confident in sharing ideas and collaborating with others.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional writing skills tailored for social channels, with the ability to communicate clearly with international teams where English may be a second language.
- Mindset & Style: Highly self-disciplined, creative, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm and focused under pressure during fast-moving campaigns or crisis situations.
- Brand Champion: Own the international social media governance, including social media policy and social media management tool governance and be the key point of contact for social media approvals, advice and support internationally.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing a global company’s social media presence, channels, and online communities.
- Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of the broader social media landscape, alongside a solid grasp of SEO and content marketing strategies.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Talkwalker, ZeroFox preferred) and design platforms such as Canva.
