Are you a digital native with a passion for content strategy, brand storytelling, and global community engagement? G4S is looking for a proactive Social Media Manager to lead and execute our international social media strategy across key global channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Youtube.

While you will help shape international social content, a significant part of this role centers on brand compliance, channel governance, and day-to-day message management across our global footprint. You will act as the primary brand guardian, approving posts across nearly 90 local and regional channels to maintain global brand standard, while actively managing routine inquiries and messages across our core corporate accounts.

What We Can Offer You

  • Salary & Benefits: £40,400 per annum, generous annual leave allowance, employee assistance programme and hybrid working.
  • Location: London / WFH / Flexible options available
  • Permanent: Full-time position reporting to the Associate Director - Digital & Social International.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Global Strategy: Act as the in-house social media expert, tracking external trends and identifying opportunities to boost engagement and elevate G4S’s international reputation.
  • Manage Core Channels: Oversee day-to-day international content management, moderation, channel auditing, and group social media architecture.
  • Corporate Inbox & Community Management: Take ownership of corporate inbox management, actively monitoring, triaging, and responding to direct messages, inquiries, and comments across primary channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and HR to support employer branding, drive lead generation, and strengthen recruitment and talent retention initiatives.
  • Lead Employee Advocacy: Direct the social media advocacy program for internal sales and recruitment teams by providing training, managing advocacy tools, and encouraging adoption.
  • Crisis Management: Play a key role in monitoring social channels and guiding communication strategies as part of the group's established crisis response framework.
  • Analytics & Vendor Management: Utilise social listening to track metrics, deliver monthly data reports, and manage key vendor relationships such as Hootsuite, Talkwalker, and ZeroFox.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
