SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic social media expert to join the PR & Marketing team at Firmdale Hotels. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate team based in Soho, responsible for the communications for our eight award-winning hotels in London, as well as the Firmdale brand. The role will provide insight into travel and F&B social media management for one of the UK’s most successful, privately owned luxury hotel brands.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the social media strategy for Firmdale Hotels across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Take ownership of copywriting, content creation, scheduling, publishing and community management for the social channels.
  • Create high end content across various pillars (rooms, restaurants, bars, private events) and grow our channels, increase brand recognition and loyalty, and reach new audiences.
  • Work with the Senior Social Media & Content Executive and New York Social Media Manager to execute an insight-led social media strategy aligned with wider PR, marketing and commercial objectives – driving awareness, engagement, website traffic, bookings and revenue.
  • Create day-to-day content as well as deliver social campaigns for exciting pop ups, activations and seasonal moments.
  • Proactively identify and test emerging social media trends, formats and opportunities that could work for Firmdale.
  • Manage our paid social agency for Instagram and Facebook, working closely with them to execute and report on campaigns to drive awareness for the hotels and restaurants.
  • Execute a creator-led strategy for TikTok.
  • Manage content creators in collaboration with the PR team, both on a paid and gifted basis, identifying, briefing and managing creators aligned with our hotels and restaurants in London.
  • Frequently visit our London hotels, bars and restaurants to capture engaging video content via iPhone and camera for Instagram Reels.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of the social media platforms.
  • Use data-driven growth tactics to increase social engagement and audience.
  • Share a monthly social report.
  • Input into ad hoc reports for team projects and key events.
  • Support the PR & Marketing team in photo and video shoots, and support the wider PR & Marketing strategy, including promoting experiences and events.
  • Work with third parties (such as Design Hotels, Mr & Mrs Smith and drinks partners) on collaborative content.
  • Continuously monitor and engage with social media conversations about Firmdale Hotels, proactively engaging with accounts including key contacts such as journalists and travel agents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
