About the Company

Company Introduction Our client is one of China’s leading automotive manufacturers and one of the fastest-growing Chinese automotive groups globally. Founded in 1997, the company has established strong capabilities in vehicle R&D, manufacturing, new energy technology, and global market expansion. Over the past few years, the company has accelerated its internationalisation strategy, moving from a traditional vehicle exporter to a global automotive group with localized operations, including sales companies, dealer networks, after-sales systems, and brand operations across multiple regions. Today, the company operates in more than 130 countries and regions, with a growing portfolio of global automotive brands covering different market segments, from mainstream SUVs to premium and new energy vehicles.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for an experienced social media professional who combines strategic thinking with strong creative instincts and excellent platform knowledge.

You will take ownership of the brand’s UK organic social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, as well as relevant emerging platforms. The role will be responsible for building a distinctive and engaging social identity, growing communities, supporting vehicle launches and campaigns, and improving social performance through continuous testing and optimisation.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution — from developing content plans and creator briefs to writing copy, capturing social-first content, managing agencies and analysing campaign performance.

This role is based in London and requires onsite attendance five days per week, with occasional travel to shoots, launches, retailer locations and events. The original role also places significant emphasis on supporting product launches, live moments and retailer activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
