The Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager plays a key role within the Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK team and EU team, leading the development, execution, and ongoing optimisation of the Group's social media strategy.
This position is responsible for enhancing the UK's social media presence by driving strategic initiatives, creating engaging content, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall Brand & Communications strategy. The role will also provide expert guidance on integrating social media across the wider business, while supporting the development of governance, best practices, and policies to ensure a consistent and effective digital presence.
Based in our London Corporate office, this is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic social media professional to make a significant impact across the UK portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
- Creating captivating content for an organisation’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts, and multimedia content
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
- Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
- Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
- Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, and social media posts
- Managing a social media team and guiding junior members
- Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy

What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in a similar position in a group-level role.
- Deep understanding of hospitality business and guests
- Highly developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing, and supervisory skills
- Ability to work across all levels and functions of the hotels under own initiative in a highly pressured environment
- Good project management skills
- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
