Job Opportunity: Social Media Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is a creative, hands-on opportunity for a social media professional passionate about photography, visual storytelling, and digital culture.
You will own social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, helping shape the voice and presence of a globally recognized creative brand.
The role combines strategic planning, content creation, performance analysis, and creator collaboration.
- Experiment with new formats, trends, and storytelling approaches to discover what resonates with audiences at scale.
- Your work will directly influence brand awareness, community engagement, and the growth of social channels.
- You will join a collaborative and flexible environment where creativity, autonomy, and continuous learning are encouraged.
- This position is ideal for someone with strong visual instincts who enjoys taking ideas from concept through production, publication, and optimization.
Accountabilities
- Develop and own the social media strategy, translating broader brand objectives into engaging, platform-specific content.
- Define channel strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including content pillars, editorial calendars, formats, and publishing plans.
- Identify emerging platform trends, content opportunities, and audience behaviors to keep the social strategy relevant and competitive.
- Plan, create, edit, and publish high-quality social content aligned with a premium visual identity.
- Produce short-form videos and other social-first creative assets designed to maximize engagement and audience growth.
- Continuously improve creative quality by testing new concepts, formats, hooks, storytelling techniques, and visual approaches.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting processes across social platforms.
- Monitor content performance, analyze audience behavior, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Run creative experiments and content tests to determine what drives the strongest engagement and growth.
- Collaborate with photographers, ambassadors, and creators to develop campaigns and compelling community-driven stories.
- Brief creators on campaigns and content requirements and help curate and repurpose user- and creator-generated content.
- Manage the social media workflow independently, from ideation and planning through production, publication, analysis, and optimization.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing social media for a brand.
- Demonstrated experience growing Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube audiences organically.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-performing social media content and creative work.
- Hands-on experience editing short-form video and producing social-first creative assets.
- Excellent visual taste and a strong understanding of design, composition, and digital content principles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, audience behavior, and platform algorithms.
- Experience using analytics and performance data to evaluate and improve content strategies.
- Ability to combine creative thinking with a data-driven and experimentation-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects from initial concept through publication.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with creators and cross-functional stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in photography is a strong advantage, whether as a hobby or through professional experience.
- Familiarity with photo editing tools such as Luminar, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software is a plus.
