Social Media Manager Intern (Unpaid – 6 Week Internship)

Location: Remote (UK)
Duration: 6 Weeks
Hours: Flexible (10–15 hours per week)

Are you passionate about social media, content creation and growing brands?

Advercado.co.uk is building the UK's marketplace for independent advertising spaces and marketing services. Our mission is simple: make real-world advertising affordable and accessible for every business, while helping individuals and organisations generate additional income from advertising opportunities they own.

We're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager Intern to help us grow our online presence during an exciting stage of our journey.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan and schedule engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Create graphics, short videos and social media posts.
  • Research trends and develop new content ideas.
  • Grow our audience organically through engagement and community building.
  • Monitor performance and provide weekly insights and recommendations.
  • Work directly with the founders to shape our social media strategy.
  • Help promote new advertising opportunities, business success stories and industry news.

What We're Looking For

  • Passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Strong written English and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
  • Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
  • Self-motivated, organised and eager to learn.
  • Marketing or business students are encouraged to apply, but enthusiasm matters more than qualifications.
