Join a dynamic project to build the organic social presence for a new global mobile app focused on Korean beauty discovery. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media and growth strategy for Kotiful, targeting international shoppers and beauty enthusiasts. This role requires a creative, data-driven approach to content creation, community engagement, and influencer outreach, with the goal of driving app discovery and downloads. You will work closely with a remote, international startup team and have the opportunity to shape the brand’s social identity from the ground up.
Deliverables
- Develop and implement a multi-platform social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and relevant community channels
- Create, repurpose, and schedule short-form video and visual content tailored to each platform
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and copy to maximize reach and engagement
- Research and identify micro-influencers for outreach and collaboration
- Coordinate user-generated content (UGC) and creator partnerships to amplify brand presence
- Monitor trends, test growth ideas, and adapt strategies based on performance analytics
- Manage community engagement, respond to comments, and foster a positive brand community
- Track key metrics and report on campaign effectiveness to inform ongoing improvements

Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media and growth for consumer apps, beauty, travel, or lifestyle brands
- Strong understanding of K-beauty trends, products, and global beauty communities
- Demonstrated ability to create and edit short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Excellent written English skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy and hooks
- Experience with influencer outreach, UGC campaigns, and partnership development
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in tracking and interpreting social media metrics
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with limited resources
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and startup environments
- Candidates based in Mauritius are strongly preferred; remote work with flexible hours is required
- Availability for an initial 30-day paid trial, with potential for a longer-term contract
